W7 - Sharing Folders Between Pc's Problems

Easy Way to share in Win7 is to Add user accounts to both PC's Thats all I had to to for my house mates (me win7 Pro, 1x Vista and 1xW7 Ult)
 
Make sure your network 'type' is set to Home Network (7) or Private (Vista)

Having it set as public will cause all sorts of issues for file sharing

ok after a lot of messing about i have everything the way i want it, it seems i need to go into sharing and add 'everyone' and then go into the security tab > edit > add > create everyone > then give them full control. doing these 2 things to each folder gave me full access to them thru the network and i have disabled the homegroup feature. many thanks for your help mate. ;) :D

this did not seem to work for me :(

yeah i checked both pcs and they are both on the home network :cool:
