The mouse cursor has been buggy for about 15 years on ATI graphics card. I can remember my ancient ATI Rage Fury card even doing it. I still see it today on their modern cards. Sometimes the mouse cursor just flickers and becomes twice as large for a split second.
They don't seem to care.

hmmm just bought myself a ATI card and I have a Gigabyte mobo so I guess if my cursor increases in size I know why now..Is there any fix for this by any chance, I mean.. in case it does happen to me, although reading sr4470 comments, he never had this problem before, so maybe I will be lucky!
What's your full PC specification? When I say quite a few, I mean nearly everything from ATI Rage up to the Radeon HD4870and the latter was in a Gigabyte motherboard as well. I haven't used Windows 7 though..
Well, right now I have it as this..
Win7 Ultimate 32Bit
6 HDD's
ASUS Sonar D2
1 DVD Writer
1 Blue-Ray & HD DVD Drive
1 Floppy
(8800GTX) But this will be changed to a Powercolor 4890 1GB PCS+ when I receive it in a couple of days.
Running on a Corsair HX Series 520W Modular PSU. Also, the 6 HDD's will soon be cut down when I install my hot swap bay, I might end up with 3 or 4 HDD's, depends on if I can find another SATA cable or not.
Never had that issue and I've been using ATI cards since the 8500. The problem this thread is about is a Gigabyte BIOS bug.
Do you have PhysX software installed?
uhmm nope, not what I know off....![]()
Few people reported that it caused that problem apparently..
What driver set are you using?
nVidia's latest drivers.. 195.62..
I'm out of ideas then, i'm guessing you already checked the Windows 7 accessibility settings in control panel?
Uhmm I think we got things a bit cross wired here.. my first comment about this problem was that I am soon going to have a ATI card and that I have a Gigabyte mobo, which seem to be a common dominator in this problem with the cursor.. I don't have a problem with it right now, having a nVidia card right now..
Hope that makes a bit more sense?![]()
