W8 desktops on SBS2011 domain

Hi

We currently have Win 7 desktops only on the domain. We have a few due for replacement and they will be Win 8 desktops.

Will there be any issues with running Win 8 on a SBS2011 domain specifically with GPO's for IE proxy , homepage etc settings?

I know that when IE updated to IE10 on the server the GPO's for controller IE settigns disappered. After dfowngradign IE they came back.
 
In theory it should be fine, we run lots of Windows 8 workstations on a Server 2008 R2 level domain, and whilst there are a few things you can no longer do (I seem to remember that IE maintenance is no longer supported with IE10/11), everything else works as expected.
 
IE policies are now maintained via Group Policy Preferences Pane, they originally moved them into IEAK but then that was EOL'd and the functionality was moved into GPP.

Have just been through this myself setting up IE10 policies on a W2K8 R2 TS.
 
Have you got anymore information on how we can setup IE10 policies using SBS2011 with Win7 clients?
