W8 - Unable to Install From USB

I thought I'd re-install W8 but I'm having a bit of trouble doing so.

I've created a bootable usb from my iso and it's recognised by my pc (even in bios). However, when I press F8 on startup and choose my usb stick it just starts straight into windows. I've re-done the usb stick a couple of times and still the same. I've tried all the usb slots but no change. I've used this method before so not sure what's going wrong this time round.

Anyone help?

As I remember, you need to disable secure boot in the UEFI.

As I remember, you need to disable secure boot in the UEFI.

The problem was the usb stick! I tried another one later and it worked first time so all installed now. I should have tried that first off but didn't as I didn't get any errors when creating the bootable stick.
