[W8] Windows selecting the wrong network driver sometimes?

Hi all,

Sometimes when I boot up and log in to windows, my network adaptor is listed as unable to start.

I go into device manager and see it listed, for some reason, as: Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection. Which is wrong.

I then uninstall it and do a scan for hardware changes and it installs the correct driver; Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection. My connectivity is then restored.

This only happens once every few boot ups but it's very odd. Any ideas what could be causing it?

if using drivers bundled with windows, it might be worth looking for official intel ones? if you're already doing that, i have no idea.
