basicly my mates screwed up his phone and need a guide/manual to help him sort it out. and info or links would be cool.

EDIT: just how to unscrew the case or what tools to use. i dont know exactly what he has done but i know its to do with the case

it would help if you could give more info as when opening the phone up may cause more damage...what is the actual problem?

the basic opening instructions are:

1) Remove battery cover and battery
2) unscrew the 4 silver screws under the battery cover (use a T6 screwdriver)
3) remove the top part which was flush with the battery cover (a plastic opening tool is usually used for this, it would help if you had it...see below)
3a) to do this, run the tool all the way around the edge of where that part of the cover joins with the main body
3b) the cover should be easy to fiddle off now (just be careful not to damage any of the clips)
4) do the same as step 3 for the front cover if needed.
5) avoid unscrewing/disconnecting anything else, as there are a lot of small parts, etc and from experience they can be easy to loose!
