W950I question (and d900)

Hello folks long time no see around here.

Right just swapped my old M500 for a D900. Wondering if i should have got the W950I though. The question is, Using my M500 i could pickup email and look at web pages while connected to the PC. This cost me nothing and was superb at work. Now the D900 has email but it wont connect through the PC to the internet. Thus my 500 viagra emails a day will be costing me a few quid. Will the W950I connect through the PC? and allow me to collect my emails for free while at work?

You sure its not your work blocking your webmail??

Im at home testing the d900 and it definatly will only connect through the grps connection tot he net. And not the usb connection.

W950i and M600i are almost the same, I haven't seen any way to do what you want. Just to connect the pc to the internet though the phone as usual.

Personally I chose the M600i over the D900, seems like a nicer phone. The W950i usually costs £100 more than the M600i and for that you loose the nice keyboard but gain 4gb built in memory. M600i can only take 1gb M2 card at a time if that bothers you. The M600i's from Phones4u are almost always fully unlocked, ones direct from the network providers have nasty alterations to the firmware that you can't get rid off.
