Am i right in thinking that if i connect my W960i to my home wifi then its free ie there wont be any charges made from my phone service provider for browsing the internet over my phone - I know this may sound like a stupid question.
The satellite connection to pinpoint your location is free, but the maps themselves need to be downloaded. If you do that while "out and about", i.e over 3G then you'll be charged for the data. If you do it at home then it'll be free, but using it at home negates the point of a GPS.
Nokia Maps itself incurs a separate charge if you want it to route plan and talk to you.
