Hi.
Anyone know when the W960i is out?
Ive been waiting for this phone for a while, with its predecessor being perfect bar the camera, or lack their of, this seems like my perfect phone.

My only problem is that my contract runs out within the next 2 weeks, so if its not out by then. :(.
Plus, i managed to wangle a TyTn out of work a few months back, and if i got a new phone, i dont think the TyTn would see much action. :p.

Just don't upgrade straight away, or upgrade, sell the phone you receive brand new, pocket the cash and buy it sim free when it comes out. I've also got my eyes on this phone and am getting either this or the W910i as a keeper and ditching Vodafone and going to Virgin mobile.

Ive gotta otherwise i dont have a contract! lol.

Might do, but what phone would i get? and theres no guarantee i'd be able to sell.

Don't be silly, anything sells on the bay:p

Just choose the phone which sells for the most;)

Why do you say that? Is there a reason why your contract is going to terminate?

Mobile phone contracts are normally of the "minimum term" variety, where you have to stay with that network for 12/18/24 months (however many you signed up for). At the end of that minimum term you can either stay on your current tariff (until you decide to cancel your contract or upgrade), upgrade your phone and start a new minimum term contract, or cancel and go elsewhere.

Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs here!

some people say october some december, so no-one really knows lol, all i do know is its worth the wait, my contract is up in nov and im gona wait for it to come out to upgrade

theres no point upgrading now then selling it, eg a nokia n95 will only get you £200-£250, and the w960i will be at least £400/£450 sim-free, so its really not worth it

Really?
My contract is technically 'up' in 2 weeks time, are you saying that i can stay on the current terms that im on now until i decide to cancel or upgrade?

I wouldn't hold your breath for it any earlier than Dec :( I was considering this but don't want to wait another 2 months.
