Most bizzare street name I know of in England is Land of Green Ginger in Hull. Never did find out why it's called that - didn't want to buy the book!

Near me we have a 'Pussex Lane', people seem to find it hilarious to slighty 'alter' the 'X' to make it look like a 'Y'

It's "Grope**** Lane", it means a small dark passage.

There used to be one in Banbury (it's called Parsons Street now).

I don't know about the meaning but its the place where historically prostitutes were to be found.

I used to live at "26 Radical Ride, Wokingham" with my parents

On the other side of Reading nr Caversham there are 2 places next to eachother called Tokers Green and Cane End.....not that Im implying anything!!
