:confused:soo i just got a Wacom fun pen and touch medium sized but im having a problem where when i use my pen to navigate desktop/apps ect it isn't using the hole active area and is really getting on my nerves, has anyone experienced this problem? im running windows 8 developer preview btw

I had issues in general with mine, so I went to the site and updated the drivers and it sorted them all out.

Other option if its fully updated would be to go into the My Tablet tab > Pen Tablet Properties

On the properties page that loads, select the PEN tab and click on mapping. You can set screen info in there.

kind of related question but do those medium and small versions have any actual additional benefit or is it just adding in the software?

I don't think there is any software difference between them.

Hardware wise there are 1024 or 2048 levels of sensitivity, and obviously the size comes down to what you can afford and what works for you.

It really takes some getting used too, but for detailed work and drawing it's good. I've just got the small one but it's ok for what I use.

ahh all sorted, it was to do with the metro style homescreen in windows 8, just remapped and its all good. now im having a problem where i cant use the touch feature :p and yeah they are good at doing detailed work and imo much more convenient than pen and paper I've just got to get used to it now and get out of the habit of drawing really sketchy like, if that made any sense

touch feature, has it be turned on?

one of the buttons, top left I think turns it on or off. It again could also be a driver issue.

You also want to check the options to make sure its set up properly.
