WACOM Graphics Tablets

Bought a WACOM Intuos 3 tablet a while ago and have got it working using linuxwacom, but, only the main pad and pen work. The buttons on the pad don't work. The sensitivity is on/off and not gradual as I have programmed it to, but most annoying is the buttons and slider not working on the pad.

Has anyone managed to get all functionality out of their WACOM?

i have an older ultrapad and haven't managed to get it working yet. Not that I have tried particulary hard, but it doesn't look straightforward. By all accounts it should be possible, but a lot of configging and messing about.. Linux Ready for desktop? pah
