What's your opinions on this new build?

I'm wanting a good gaming pc? but also wanting to be able to upgrade in the future without buying a full system? is the bundle a good deal? or do you think i should get the AMD x4 3.2?

HELP! :D

I have just got my i7 and in honesty its complete overkill for me im happy with but money was not a an issue. If you wan tot save some ££ go AMD if you want a moosive overkill for games and have the money go i7 both are fantastic mate
 
i just can't decide on whether to get an i7 920 or AMD x4 3.2, i need some expert advice, im quite bias towards AMD as the last processor i owned was AMD and it was good for gaming! thanks for advbice big bruiser.
 
This is my 1st ever intel only ever had AMD before, bought i7 over AM3 for the reason of am3 boards are still young imo and only crossfire the new 8 series chipset is out soon so dont know if it will change things for AM3. The cost for high end i7 and am3 is like £100 that my reasons :p
 
If it is only for gaming get the amd 955, oc it, and performs similarly to an i7 oc'ed in games.
 
Sound blaster Audigy SE? Does that even work with Windows Vista/7 ?

Also, have you got a good power supply? I'd recommend at least a 550W PSU for that setup.

As for OS, I'm guessing you are going windows 7 or already own an OS. Make sure you use a 64bit version so you can use all 7GB of RAM.

All else looks good. i7 is a beast, a stock X4 955 may beat a stock i7 920. However - thats Phenom II 3.2Ghz vs i7 2.66Ghz. As that i7 bundle is set at 4.0Ghz there is not a phenom II which is able to beat it (Phenom II X4 955 seem to max out at 3.8Ghz).
