WAG54G - can ping other system on network but cant get net access or ping router.

Hey guys,

As the title says really. Got a WAG54G with one system connected wirelessly and one connected wired. The wired PC can ping the wireless system (which can access the router's control panel and the internet) but cannot ping the router or access the internet.

Somewhat stumped about this because it should really work. Is there any means in XP of setting which connection is used for internet? Only thing that comes to mind.

Does the wired PC use DHCP or have a static IP address?

The output of 'ipconfig /all' from both machines and maybe 'route print' too would be helpful.

Edit - Can the wired PC ping IP addresses on the internet? If so, can it ping DNS names (ie www.jolt.co.uk) too? Have you got a proxy set in the web browser on the wired PC?
