Anyone know the what the deductions would likely be on £18500 pa on a standard tax code 647? We need to work out a budget on reduced income before accepting a job.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not til april, but with that in mind it would be a net of £14890

Do you think they picked 747 as a reference to the jumbo-jet sized amounts we are taxed these days?
