Hey folks, so it looks like I need to extend the television power cable as its a moulded plug (Sony)

What type of Wago connector do I need? I guess 2 way as there are only two wires in the plug, but each connector I see is blocked off as such, I always thought Wago connectors were like network cable couplers but it appears not? How do they "join" as such?? I see spring loaded ones are they the correct type?

Also, silly q but what type of cable do I need to buy for extending the plug.?

Buy some 3c flex or a cheap extension lead and cut the wire off. Or cut the wire off any appliance you dont use any more.

Personally id crimp or solder and then heatshrink. What ever you do your warrenty will be out the window assuming you have one ofc

You'll need 2 Wago connectors (or 3 if there's an earth wire in the lead) - one for each wire in the cable. Push the two wires you want to join into each wago (ie live to live, neutral to neutral, etc).

You'll really need a box to contain the Wago connectors too.

cant you just buy an extension lead cut the plug off run cable and re terminated plug? no joining needed? then cable tie socket of extension lead behind tv via grills?
I do that all the time.

You will need to 2x 2 way connectors, one for the live and one for the neutral and then the will need a wagobox or some sort of enclosure with strain relief.

Cable wise you will need flex (or flexible) cable, 0.75mm should be more then amble.
