I adore '70 Dodge Coronets. I especially adore '70 Coronet wagons. And that one....*sigh* I will own one some day. The one pictured is up for sale at a criminally low price, and if I wasn't committed to getting the Olds exactly how I want it then I'd have seriously considered grabbing this and bringing it over here. I could probably scrape up the funds to do it, but on account of the fact that I'm saving for a house, and to get together bits for the Olds engine build that I want to do....it's just not on the cards right now. At any rate, I'm not sure what my friends would make of me buying another big ol' wagon....much as they like the Olds, I think they'd probably have me sent to a lunatic asylum for wanting another old lump of American pig iron!
Imagine the car in the pics, with hood scoops like this one, and wheels like this Challenger. Leave the rest of the car looking bone stock, all the chrome and all the interior intact (bench seat and column shift as well). Under the hood - either a hot small-block, or maybe a 440ci RB motor with six-pack carb setup. Automotive perfection.
