wahey! ive completed 1st game for years!

Ever since i stopped playing my SNES i have never really completed a game apart from Zelda on the N64. Ever since i have just been playing online pc games such as CS, CS:S. The offline games that i would play i would get bored of after a while and always stop playing them before i completed them. Since i got my 360 in the summer that just past i have been abit more into gaming and i have just now completed GoW, that Raam was pretty hard! Actually feels quite good to finish a game lol, hmm....i think COD3 next!

Haha just thought id post my achievement :p
 
I hardly ever finish games. Usually get 2/3 of the way through and then lost interest when it starts getting tricky. Last game I finished I think was Beyond Good and Evil around this time last year.
 
'Recent' games I've bought and couldn't be bothered to finish:

Oblivion - (but you know)
GRAW
Hitman - silent assasain or whatever the latest one's called
Prey - (that was hard work, not because the game was hard, but because it was crap)
Doom 3 - (kept making a mess in my pants - mum asked for that to stop, not really my fault).
Splinter Cell Double Agent (keep meaning to finish this one as it is actually quite good).

I prefer to just sit down when I feel like it now and chip away at a game, GoW is the last game I played seriously and finished it in about 2 sittings.
 
GoW is the first game i ahve completed in ages aswell, but the last boss was too easy. A couple of sniper shots then ran round the back to the machine gun and owned him

I am exactly the same. Although I completed CoD 3 yesterday :)
 
I've heard that a couple of times but every time i get on the troka i get minced by the kryl....

I have been using the torque bow method...
 
last game completed was gow aswell got r6lv and cod3 going think only few levels them all my attention on fm07 at the minute and sc.da is still wrapped need to hurry before more games want come out.

Exactly the same as me... I only buy games that have online play, will do a bit of single player and then get bored and just play multiplayer from then on. It's hard to go back to single player after having done multiplayer mode so much.
 
I complete nearly every game I buy. It seems like a waste of money otherwise. It would be like buying a film and only watching half of it.

Although when I buy a cheap game I don't usually complete it. That's often because they aren't that great but sometimes it's just that I don't feel the need to get the most out of it since I didn't pay that much for it.

Then your buying the wrong games, either that or playing them too much in a short sense of time. I actually only completed F.E.A.R. (on pc) last week, despite getting it back at release :D

depends how much you play, i got into it and then got abit busy and didnt play it for a good month or so, then past few days been back to it and completed it today, did consider not bothering with it thou.

I found it a bit boring after racking up about 4 hours gameplay. It's a bit repetetive imo and relies too much on fancy graphics, which I must say ARE very impressive. I am yet to go back to it to complete it.
 
I am making more of an effort to play through the games Im getting and finish them at some point. Generally get sidetracked by the online side of things.

COD3 - Its still in its wrapper!
