So i have been wanting to build a PC for a while i have the spec i want basically but had been waiting on the G3's that were meant to be coming out Q4 this year.

However after reports that they are being delayed I'm considering halting the entire project till i can get the G3 as i see no point spending £200+ on a 128GB SSD when new ones come out.

Would you wait completely, and then re do your spec over replacing the i7 950 with a sandybridge when i bet the G3 launches in a similar window?

I really can't decide I have the money if i want to build it now i just don't want to regret buying the PC then the G3's hit and Sandy Bridge comes and is the same price I purchased the i7 for.

I realise you can't just wait for the next best thing, I'm just stuck in 2 minds :(

In 2011 When SB hits and the G3's probably hit I assume the CPU's will be of the current prices of say the i7 920-950?

I definitely want an SSD with 128GB but with the G3's they are being upped to 160 and 300 which would be lovely

Would you wait?

/sigh Just not sure what to do :(

I think you can do way better with that build.

£1700 and only 1 GTX 460 seems poor value for money.

Depends what you doing with it I guess.

The most taxing part will be gaming to be honest.
Surely though i can add a second 460 later on if i wanted to?

It would be quite a bit cheaper sans monitors.

I question whether it's worth spending another £180 on a second card i question i would use at first.

Is there anything else i should change? That power supply suggested why is it better than the Akasa?
