SX, unfortunately
Bit of a strange one - I have an HCPC that is based on a gigabyte motherboard GA-Z77-UD5H.

It usually only gets used at weekends but instead of shutting down it goes to sleep for quick loading. Except a few times recently it wakes up, but no sound, and on re-start can't find the boot device (SSD with no reported issues).

Any idea how to trouble shoot this one please as it's been a LONG time since I've had this kind of issue :(

thanks all

I've had nothing but trouble with sleep on GB motherboards to be honest, however the following may help:

Disable Fast/ultra fast boot in the bios.
Disable fast startup in Windows power options.

Oddly enough, I've always had issues with sleep and my mobo is GB too!

Thanks Guys - interesting htat others have had similar issues. Next time I'm allowed near the TV I'll try that.

SSD is about 3 years old, so quite similar to the mobo.
