Anyone got this working? I'd like to be able to remotely turn on a home machine from work to access some files if need be.
I gather some BIOS settings need enabled, and also some software is required.

Anyone had any success?

Most routers won't pass Wake On Lan packets.

You generally need to telnet or otherwise connect to a device on the edge of your network and use it's built in WoL capability.

Some of the new 3rd party firmwares for routers include the ability.

True but the guy ain't said what router he's using yet. I know some routers block the traffic but i'm just stating thats how you do it.
