Is there a way to turn on my home PC (Windows 11 Pro) over the internet using an iPhone/iPad?
I have an app on my phone that allows me to turn the PC on whilst I’m connected to my home LAN but not over WAN. I often use Microsoft RD Client app to access the PC on the LAN but can’t use it remotely as I can’t turn the PC on.
WOL is enabled and works fine over LAN.
Cheers

Personally, run a VPN at home, either on your router if it supports it or install it on a Pi.

Then VPN to home, and you will be able to use the app that you use to turn the PC on (unless it needs to be on the same L2 network for it to work).

Using a VPN, you don't have to expose anything to the internet apart from the VPN server.
