Walking shoes/boots

I've recently started a new job that will involve a lot of walking (on paved footways).

I'm looking to get a set of suitable walking shoes/boots that will be comfortable and hold up to all kinds of weather.

My work will pay up to £60/65 (will need to double check the correct amount) but I would be prepared to pay a bit more on top if it's worth doing so.

What do people recommend?
