Walking Stukkas.......

Agree with the comments so far that emphasise cutting off their resources early game to prevent teching up.

This is relatively easy to do if you play Brits (if a little unsporting, perhaps) by putting a few trenches down at key choke points and consolidating all your resources behind these lines (move your HQ up fairly quickly and don't worry about temporarily leaving resources unsecured behind you).

If you do find Stukkas are bombarding you from deep behind their lines mid game and you have gone Commando, watch for where they are firing from (icon shows up on the mini-map as their rockets fall) and drop a tetrarch tank behind it to take it out. You might lose it if there’s a load of AT around but the tetrarch is manoeuvrable enough to be able to inflict a bit of damage before it's toasted.
 
IF you let the walksing stukas get out its a nightmare.

there have been many threads on whether Stuka are OP or not on the relic news boards i believe they are.

i also have replays for games vs the lvl 20 no.1 brit 2v2 player (who is playing as wehr)in a 2v2 where we faced 6x walking stuka spam.

the only way to deal witrh it is to form a raiding party of AB + M10's and maybe para AT drop, or to get some cromwells+overrepair and effectively sacrifice your units to go on a rush to take out the WS and hopefully as much as possible before going down.

WS are the main PITA on COH (well apart from PzGrens but oh well). You have to take them out, if you leave them and try to fight whilst "ignoring" the WS yuou will likely loose everything.
 
wehrmacht are very weak early to mid game.

attack and dominate early and they wont get stukkas.
 
of course they will especially in 2v2...

what makes the wehr so weak early game? they are at least as strong as the US, just through unit variance from their T1 building compared the the barracks...

that Wehr are weak early game and therefore must own late game is a fallacy...
 
I personally think WM have a fairly strong early game..their inf are incredible Im a bit of a noob but I get the impression theyre the best in the game!

I would agree that their mid game is weak but that's a very small time frame to be making a significant assault in!

If you think WM inf is increadible you should see PE inf they are just crazy when vetted up.
 
4 man def vetted Pzgren wielding MP44's are a nightmare;/

they own pretty much most things...

in the new patch Volks MP40 also going to be deadly even from medium range.
