I'm about to re-decorate my home office as like many of you I would imagine, I will be working from home for the foreseeable future.

I currently have an Acer X34A monitor, which has a rather enormous stand. I've pushed it back as far as I can but it's still closer than I would like. Additionally, I also have an Ergotron monitor arm, but unfortunately, due to the design, it doesn't really go back any further than it does on the stand, no matter which way I try to position it.

I am after a simple wall mount, it does not need any adjustment other than tilt up or down. It's main requirement is that I can get the monitor as close to the wall as possible.

Any recommendations?

search for:

TV Wall Bracket, TV Mount for Most 17-42 inch LED, LCD, OLED, Plasma Flat&Curved TVs up to 30kg, Max VESA 200x200mm (PSSL1-E)

on the rainforest. That'll probably do if you still have the VESA mount kit for your monitor.

Excellent, just the ticket, thank you very much mate :)

Check out Eona by the same rainforest. It's a heavyweight but thing I like about it is how vibration proof it is, and it's very adjustable. It's absolutely rock solid. Comes with excellent wall plugs and all the fittings.

just make sure you get good wall plugs and screws and it'll last ages. I use these cheap ones for my tv's and as long as they are certified for the weight, I never see a problem!

Got it today, looks like a very substantial piece of kit actually and seems to come with all the right fittings and whatnot. Looks bargainous for a tenner!

Sorry too late :p but thanks anyway for the suggestion, the above item however looks like exactly what I needed.
