So I'm looking at possibly wall mounting my monitor as we have two PC's in a small office room, so the desks are small. I'd quite like to save some desk space as my BenQ GL2460 has quite a large base. I'm considering a wider desk, but I can't go any deeper as we both have the same size desks now, and there's literally a few inches between the backs of our chairs when gaming together.

It's hard to tell in the photo, but the mouse mat is on the edge of the desk, and only just fits in front of the monitor base.

Are there brackets that have an option of mounting either 1 or 2 monitors though? In the future I'd consider a monitor upgrade, so I'd like to have the option to add a second without a new mounting bracket. Or are there any well-priced single brackets (that aren't going to fall of the wall) I could just replace later for a 2-screen one?

I use a desk mounted arm. I have the spare fitting for 2 monitors if I change my setup later.

Quite convenient as no drilling and it's movable!

This looks similar to something a friend has. My concern is that the desks are cheap Argos desks so I can see all of the weight being in one point snapping the desk - however we're looking at buying some new ones.

What model is your desk mount?

I have two desks now that I got a honeycomb yoke for the gaming pc and needed more desk space.

I have a duronic dual monitor desk mount on a glass top desk that I got out of tesco direct when they closed down which holds and 22” and an 32” ultra wide.

I have a duronic long pole which has two verities mounts which is holding a 27” predator monitor which is on a tressel style desk that was brought out of Argos in the sales which is a mdf style top on a metal frame and two shelf’s in the legs which hold the pcs

Using a Duronic DM351X3 With a single 27" monitor. Works well and not bad at all for £25.

If you decide to get the same, you can get a grommet that allows you to mount the stand directly to the desk. You will have to drill two holes in your desk though.
