Looking to lift my Acer Predator X34P off my desk and it's only 66cm in width so the monitor is quite close.

Would people suggest wall mounting or monitor arm?

I still want to be able to move back and forth, up and down and also left to right so that makes me sway towards a monitor arm.

Any suggestions? If you have done either, which product did you buy?

Having used several over the years the extra time to mount on the wall and either tidy up cables either on surface or in the wall is worth it.

Even low profile wall mounts tend to have some degree of adjustment and you are less likely to knock them in day to day use.

Decided to go for the wall mount over the monitor arm, installing today. :)

I got a Vonhaus one that was only £20 but it was an absolute pain to install and adjust, had to put the mount arm on the monitor first as it needs to slide up into it and it couldn't go over the lip, so yeah, wouldn't recommend one of those at the last.

Want to wall mount mine but it'd be on a hollow wall so I don't know if I fancy it.

Yeah the Vonhaus ones are cheaper but pretty stiff and shoddy imo compared to an ergotron.

I have an ergotron with an extension for my x34p seems to be doing pretty well as the weight limit is 8.5kg.

The dream bracket looks excellent. And what a great price.

I'm just waiting for delivery on a X34P and have been looking for a mounting solution. I guess you have to decide on the correct viewing height, am i correct this doesn't have height adjustment.

My desk is only 60cm deep so i guessing it's default stand will take up too much room.

No height adjustment but very good side to side motion and tilt. Great for £13. :)

The stand for the 34p is too big imo, took up almost half my desk :(
