Evening all
I am going to be boxing in some pipework and cabling for a shower and was wondering what product I should use? I will need to tile on to the chosen product and will also need to fix some brackets and the shower fittings through the tiles and in to the board

Any ideas?

That was my first thought but is ok to tile on to? do I need to prepare it in any way?

Marine ply haha no it's double faced and used for constant exposure to moisture, total overkill.

WBP ply or tile places will do small sheets of hardi backer board for a few £ assuming you don't want to buy and transport a fill 2.44 x 1.22 sheet of ply.

picking the tiles up tomorrow so will ask about hardi backer
