Hi. When people wallmount these LCD TVs, what happens to the cabling?,

Is it hidden under some kind of cover, or do people hide them completely by cutting into the plaster. Also, how easy is it to alter any cabling once its on the wall?.

could use conduit (plastic casing that sticks to the wall) but would look miles better hiiden in the wall, although this method would require most effort/work

i would imagine once the cables are hidden in the wall if you wanted to change them it would require cutting a hole in the wall again. best to make sure you got everything you need in place before plastering up the wall :)

A good tip is to run several pull wires in the wall so if you wanna add cables you can tug them through.

Make sure any holes are big enough for scart plugs to poke through too.

Generally I make tennis ball sized holes.

I went for conduit for our one in the bedroom. Its mounted up high so it was easiest to run the power and signal down from the loft. You can barely see any of the plastic conduit now and I covered it using double sided tape with a spare bit of matching wallpaper.
