Walter on the Ring, the wrong way round!

at 1.25, is the wheel ever straight for this lap!?Although he is not the quickest man around that place and probably never was, he is without question one of the true greats of Motorsport. I remember watching him in the Silverstone 6 hours in 1981 (I think) in a Porsche 935. The weather was crap for the whole race and he drove that 700bhp race car like a rally car and won the race at a canter once the Group 6 cars had crashed or broken, simply epic driving and sideways out of the chicane lap after lap with total control and consistency of drift. Simply breathtaking to watch, to see a driver so on his game. No one in the same or quicker car came close that day, including rain masters like Stuck!
