I'm after a one-click WAMP installation for a USB stick. I'm aware that there are quite a few knocking about - Server2Go, Uniform Server, XAMPP and so on. But therein lies the problem. Any recommendations for the best one of the lot to choose?

Most importantly I need flexibility of config files (php.ini/httpd.conf) and a project that has active development.

Always used XAMPP in the past without a problem - saying that I have never heard of the other two you mention so will be having a look myself!

XAMPP Lite can be run from it's own folder without any files needing to be installed. You just extract the zip and run a batch file which configures the directories. From then on you just launch the control application which allows you to start/stop Apache, MySQL, Mercury (Mail Server) and FileZilla (FTP Server).
