WAMP server wordpress access failing over LAN?

I have been using wamp to dev a new WordPress installation that I'm working on. I wanted to test on other machines and mobile devices on my local network. I have edited the apache config file to 'Require all granted' but all I get on the remote machines are placeholders e.g https://www.dropbox.com/s/891fd0s4ws9jypb/2018-01-28 23.16.19.png?dl=0

I have turned off windows firewall on the host machine, but that doesn't make a difference.

I think that all the assets are linked to 'localhost' because any links I click on the remote devices chuck up a 404 error and I notice localhost pop up in the address bar?

Anyone know how to solve this very annoying issue?

How did you insert the images onto the page?

Try go into the wordpress settings and change the domain and homepage url to the ip address of the machine it's running on instead of localhost.
