Hey im really stuck between a mountain mods UFO or the lianli server cube.

I plan to put two water cooling loops in the system, a decent amount of HDD's and needs to accomodate 2 PSU's.

Both cases can take this, however, they have benefits in differant areas.

I like the aesthetics of both;

The Lian Li is classy whereas the UFO is kinda more flashy
The UFO suits watercooling better than the li but the li can hold the PSU's and HDD tidier than the UFO.

Does anyone have experience of both these cases? Cheers for any advice

I seriously doubt you will find anyone who has 'had' a UFO most would still have them unless space was an issue. The new revision MM cases cannot hold as many hard drives as you would think - 6 is the max unless you buy more optional hard drive mounts.

When i was looking into getting a cube case, i looked at three cases, mountain mods/Yeong Yang server cube and the lian li, i studied both reviews, and comments form people who had one of each, i have to say, the mountain mods came up tops all ways, see the thing isnt space, its a) the amount of time it takes to get one in the uk.
b) the amount they cost.
by far the best looking out of the box is the ufo, the amount you can do to them is amazing, the one case ive ordered takes 15 drives confirmed by mountain mods themselves. . the extras for the lian li is stupid, i grant you for the ufo cases you have to buy the dvd drive covers, but they hardley break the bank.

It realy boils down to a) what you want to do with the case.
b) how much money you want to spend.
c) how you want it to look.

I will warn you though, any of the cube cases may sound a good idea, but they all work out exspensive, its the extras, and the bitts and bobs you want to spend to make it look nice.

At the end of the day its up to you, its your money lol
good luck

what is the delivery time for a UFO in the UK then?

if you are ordering it from the uk, it is anything from 3 weeks to 6 weeks, but if its from the us, i think its about 2 weeks, others may be able to specify better than me, as i have only just ordered mine about a week or two weeks ago.
hope it helps

Did you order yours direct from MM or through the UK reseller, i think you;ll know who they are cant name competitors obviously.

Did you have any customisation in your order? If so any details on the process?

I ordered mine form uk retailer
, and no there isnt much customiseation, bar for the pannels, ie solid, big windows, normal, and perspex, if you order from us you get more, there is a thread on ufo cases, we are trying to get it stickied
