Hi Chaps,
My 4 year old Leap V1 is starting to get less and less comfortable both on my backside and possibly my back. It was a re-furb when I got it for £150 so has lasted well enough but occasionally the wheels pop off and as I mentioned my ass aches... Also since its getting damned hot now, I'm sweating like a bugger with the fabric.
I'm in my chair maybe 16 hours a day on occasion, so seems odd that I'll have some £800 monitor, £500 GPU and £300 water loop to keep it cool but not have a really good seat (well... the Leap V1 was great when it was 8 hours a day but work is ramping up).
Looking at 2nd hand stuff, as the top end chairs area crazy priced, but wanting something that's going to last me a long time as its still quite an expense. I think budget wise I can possibly go to £500 or so, but would be ideal if I can spend £300 instead.
Thanks,
Grady
EDIT: I'm a big guy (width ways) so need to take that into account! Not really interested in "racing" chairs.
