I'm bored of my psu, weird I know, but it's the only part that hasn't changed in my build.

I've got a budget of £150.

The system is:

4790k @ 4.7
X fire 7970's
3 SSD's and a 1tb HDD.
All running swimmingly in a WC loop :)

Ive seen the superflower that's on deal atm.

Or this slightly over budget.

I was looking at a cable mod kit but they are soo expensive so I'll stick to extensions which look messy :(

Well, the gold superflower is not due in for 2 months, wow.

But the platinum is not that much more and within your bugdet. If I were to buy right now, I would probably buy it.

YOUR BASKET
1 x SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 850W Fully Modular "80 Plus Platinum" Power Supply - Black £122.99
Total : £132.59 (includes shipping : £8.00 Ex.VAT).

Hmm.. Okay. I'll have a think about it, toying between this and a sound card. I think sound card is going to win if my PSU is going to do the job fine and change it at a later date, after all it can't be seen.

Dunno If I would trust an old 750w PSU. Would probably have a look inside the gubbins and check for any buldging capacitors if I was forced to think about using it for what you are..

SuperFlower and EVGA are the exact same as previously mentioned, SF come with a 5 year warranty, EVGA come with a 10 year warranty (at least on the higher end ones) - SF also have white LEDs to show you what is plugged in to the PSU, which are impossible to turn off - Up to you whether that'll annoy you.

SuperFlower have propietary connectors so you cannot get modified cables for them, yet, but ChugNorris said they'd be due in with OcUK in the next few months. If you really want fancier cables, and your case has a lot of room for cable management, you could try cable extensions - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/silverstone-cable-extension-value-bundle-white-bu-014-sv.html - I used these due to SuperFlower's horrible connector colouring and it worked out quite well - They're also a fair bit cheaper than CableMod cables.
