Hi,

I did the Oculus compatibility check and says that my USB ports are not compatible, says it doesn't meet the USB 3.0 requirement..my motherboard is a GA-Z68AP-D3 and it has USB 3.0 ports..

What do I do now? Is the compatibility checker wrong??

Some boards don't have the bandwidth to max out all the usb 3.0 slots so the oculus software grumbles or you get glitching. As said, a usb pci-e card will help. I needed one for the extra sensors.

Check what USB 3.0 controllers you have, my Z77 Asrock Extreme 6 mobo has 2 different controllers, Etron and Intel.
When i ran the test it was detecting the controller it doesn't like and said it wouldnt work but after some research i found i had to use specific ports that are controlled by the Intel controller (I think its the Intel ones anyway).

What mobo do you have?

I have a Gigabyte GA-Z77-ds3h with 2 USB 3 ports and my Rift CV1 worked mostly fine. Only issues I had were with sound breaking up after a few minutes of play. I bought an Inateck KT5001 PCIe card and it solved all the issues.
