Would like to upgrade my reference 7970. Its starting to struggle when using eyefinity.

I'm looking at sapphire, either 2 of the 280x that is on TWO PR hold out longer for 2 of the 290's which are overdue. What would you guys do?
 
Ah well that solves that question. I'll just hold out for the 290's

Is there any crossfire+eyefinity issues with the 290?
