Ever since my first screen upgrade gave me more satisfaction than any other upgrade I'd ever done, I've been upgrading my screens about one a year or so. The only problem is I seem to be stuck now as there don't seem to be any LCD screens that have more than 32inches AND more than 1920x1200 resolution.
There seems to be the bunch of 2560x1600 monitors (but none above 30 inches) and then there's TV's which do go to larger sizes, but don't have more than 1080p.
Surely there must be some LCD screens that have more than 1080p AND more than 32 inches? I'm already running one of each to get both benefits but it would be nice if I could find a screen that had both to plug the HTPC into. There's been a few articles over the years about companies claiming to bring out "QuadHD" screens etc... but none seem to be available for sale at the moment?
Come on HannsG or Dell! Someone's gotta make a big AND hi res screen... with more and more people using HTPC's to play games AND watch movies, I'm sure there'd be people willing to buy them.
