Anybody notice the one review of that card where the guy says he's bought two of them and running them in SLI with a 3 Ghz Celeron? :confused:

And never mind wanting one, get two and put them in SLI on a EVGA 680i Black Pearl totally water cooled motherboard :D

£1675 gone on just motherboard and graphics :eek:

plus a car radiator to cool them all :p
 
And I know that this will get removed but I don't think ocuk got a good deal on buying these cards in. You can find lots for sale for £464 to £480 up to £180 cheaper.

At those prices their not much of a premium the EVGA overclocked high end GTX cards anyway.

I know I wouldnt that board or the graphics card.


Just buy a normal board and card and buy my own better watercooling gear.
 
Feeling rather ridiculous, I spec'd a machine around this card and its sister motherboard.

600 GiB of Raptors for a four disk RAID 0 array, 5 TiB storage, and a Blu-Ray drive are included. The SATA card is 4x but the mobo only sports a 16x physical, 1x wired slot but I don't see it being a problem since the 1x link supports a 250 MiB/s transfer bus which should far exceed the ability of any one or two drives. I wouldn't put the system disks on it though, just storage. My watercooling choices were largely limited to OcUK's selection. I'd have liked to get a better pump.
