Want to borrow an Acer Aspire 6930g recovery disk

My sister brought her laptop an Acer Aspire 6930g model and it is stuck at the windows desktop upon bootup with a blank/black screen.
Done the following :

Boot to Safe Mode nadda same blank/black screen at desktop
Boot to Last good known config same blank/black screen at desktop

Was able to backup her file by removing the hard drive and connecting it to my desktop to copy her documents and files.

She does not have the recovery disk as prolly did not make one when the lappy is still working.
If anybody got the recovery disk will be happy to cover postage cost for it.

have you pressed alt and f10 when booting? as that should boot with acers recovery software and take it to factory defaults if it have not been messed with, this might have to be enabled in bios

thanks for the tip.
pressing alt + f10 does not do anything and d2d recovery is also enabled in bios.
looking at the laptop partition w/c is connected to my desktop it actually has a partition called pqservice w/c I presume is the
recovery partition but unfortunately pressing alt f10 does not do anything.
already called acer and they want 50 notes for the recovery disk :mad:

she works in a school, maybe I will ask her to check there IT if she could buy a Win7 cheap.

any oem windows disk of the correct version will do.. assuming you ahve a coa...

yes the laptop has coa, its a little worn out but the vista product key is still readable
