I'm looking to build a fast quiet and reliable system.

I built a system about 2 years ago when i had very little money and its had a few problems, lost stick of ram, and motherboard, noisey PSU and seems a little unstable. I guess thats the price of using the cheapest parts I could find.

Now i got myself €700 (maybe stretch a little more) and want to make a new system. Want it fast enough to run wow and allow me to fraps it.

I have RAID HDD, IDE HDD, DVD & CDRW already. I probably wont keep any other parts off the old systems. Also have LCD, keyboard, mouse etc. Its just the box i need to put together. :)

Another thing is that my PC is noisey from the PSU fan. Sounds like a Jet is taking off when i start it up. So want it to run quieter.

I'm not up on Technology atm so what would you guys recommend? Also what manufactures should I avoid like the plauge?

Many thanks guys

Should be a nice and reasonably quiet gaming system that will OC quite nicely. However you may want to add go 2Gb if you're really into gaming.

That mobo is the only one I can think of which is still offering 2*IDE channel so you can fit all your IDE HDDs and optical drives.

*EDIT* I assume your budget is 700 EUROs??

Seasonic make some of the quietest, most reliable PSU's. Certainly worth a look, a little pricey, but worth every penny.

You didnt mention if you want to overclock, or if you would prefer to be running at factory settings. If you arnt planning on any overclocking, then use at least an E6300 with a 1066FSB for better performance.

If your going to overclock it to hell and back, then the E4300 is quite interesting, as it doesnt stress the motherboard and ram so much.
