Want to build a NAS server

Would a P3 733 be enough could I use a lower spec setup maybe Intel Celeron 600? Was planning on getting an adaptec pci sata controller and a very low end pc but need to what bare min is?
 
You'd probably be fine even on something like a Pentium 2 if you weren't running loads of demanding stuff on the server. For a NAS server on a normal 100Mbit network a P2-400 would be the minimum I'd be looking at, with 256MB RAM preferably minimum unless you ran a really lightweight OS (e.g. a Linux distro with no GUI running)
