Hi, I am wanting to buy a video editing PC system and budget is £2000. Is OC the best place to but considering I am on their forum? Lol

Any advice would be great. Im not a professional but its a hobby makinv movies on my gopro10 and wanting a decent system to edit. Haven’t decided on the software yet. I do have power director software but may consider others.

Monitors are not a speciality of mine but for 4k and professional use case you would want to go IPS for good colour accuracy. You really need to watch some vids in this area and find the correct monitor for your use case. rtings.com or hwunboxed on Youtube can advice you better than I can in this area.

The above is an excellent PC for everything you can imagine. You would be better off with a 12700K and not the 12700KF that come with the above but it is not an option on the configurator, you can ring them up and they will put in the K for a little more. The Intel chips with F in the name do not have an IGP , the IGP is used for some rendering tasks with certain software so is handy to have becuause you are not sure just exactly what software you will end up mainly using.

I did not deliberately try to spend all your budget and there are saving to be made by getting a smaller 4k monitor or you can opt for an AMD 5900x based build that will come out a bit cheaper.
