Want to make changes to existing WC setup

I've been running the same WC Rig for around 4 years and while its silent its not the most user friendly setup. I made an external box which has the pump, res and rad then ran hose into the back of the case to the CPU. Ideally I'd like to revamp the whole thing to make it more efficeint and mobile as trying to carry two boxes at the same time isnt the easiest thing!

I'm using the following parts:

DD Maze3
Ehiem 1250 Pump
1/2" ID hose
Heater Core from Sierra (basically 120.2 size)
Homemade res

I'm looking for connectors I can use on the back of the case to join the hose to the cooling box. Something like a garden hose connector that can click together so I can disconnect the PC from the cooling box.

Also, I'd like to prind the Rig foward adding a GPU sink and changing the DD Maze3 to a newer, more efficeint sink.

Questions.

1. Do these snap on/off connecters exist
2. What GPU sink should I get for 1/2" ID hose (needs to be universal fit)
3. What CPU sink should I get (again needs to be usinversal fit, future proof)
4. Should I just scrap the lot and go with a pre-designed system?

Cheers :)

1. Yes you can get quick release self sealing connectors for water cooling setups.

2. Depends on your card and whether you want a full cover or just a gpu block with ramsinks.

3. Easy. D-Tek Fusion.

4. Custom rigs are generally better than kits.

I use this for my external WC box and my pc case:

Google, Ehiem double tap connectors. Think they cost me around 7quid for 2. You will need 2 sets, so £14.

Thanks mate :)

I have a 9600XT which I'm going to keep for a while but eventually will be replacing it. So I need a block that will fit that then something like an X1950X etc.

I'll have a look at the D-Dek

In that case the Aquaextreme MP-1 and DD Maze 4 will definately fit. The D-Tek Fusion GPU will fit when they release the fitting kit for older cards.
