Want to pick the right memory to match a future upgrade

Hi all

Have plans to upgrade in the next 6 months to an SLI based system using current CPU (AMD 64 3500+). The board I am likely to go for is the Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe. Now the memory that is recommended for this board is the Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3500LL Pro TwinX. Basically my two questions are:

1. My current system is on the Asus A8V Deluxe so if I were to buy this memory now as an interim upgrade from my current 1GB of XMS 3500 (2x256 and 1x512 of the original 434MHz XMS 3500) would it happily work with the A8V?

2. In a similar post to this someone posted that the G.Skill memory is kickass and perfect for the A8N32. Is it also suitable for the A8V and is it as good as the Corsair Pro?

Really looking for the best interim upgrade to see me through until about October. Main specs below.

2 x 256 [CMX256A-3500C2PT] and 1 x 512 [CMX512-3500C2PT] Corsair XMS 3500 DDR Ram
AOpen Aeolus 6800GT-DV256 - AGP

1 x WDC 200
HDA Mystique 7.1 Gold
Jeantech 500w PSU

I plan to upgrade the PSU, Mobo and GFX card around October.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Well I have to say this memory rocks! Have only shoved it in with default settings on mobo but I have been able to increase graphics settings in BF2 from 1024x768 to 1280x1024 with 4x AA, and all but one of the texture settings to high. Smooth as............
