want to play resident evil 1 and 2 on the PC. any way to make higher resolution ?

Hi as title says I want to play these old games on my PC. the main problem is thou I am just shocked at how poor the graphics are on resident evil 1 and 2 and I think the main problem is the max resolution is 640 X ???

Do you no of any way I can play these games with higher resolutions ??

With any of these games I wouldn't have thought the graphics would get any better, as all of the standing 2D scenery will have been designed for that resolution, but could be wrong.

Yeah unfortunately a simple res bump won't always tart up older games to acceptable levels, especially if they don't support 32bit colour. Whatever res you use, you'll still be stuck with low res textures etc.

My recommendation would be too look for any config files in the gamedir, and also registry settings.
