Hi all,

I've decided that a move to a laptop isn't for me, I've had my new laptop for a week now and I wish to return it for a full refund.

I've read up that I may be covered to return it for a full refund under the DSR. However, I need some clarification regarding this first before I do anything. I received the laptop 6 days ago and it has been used, I've still got all of the original packaging and the laptop is still in as new condition. It was purchased from an online laptop outlet who I can't mention in case they are classed a competitor but on there website where it states returns and DSR's, it's not quite clear but apparenly according to them it cannot be returned if it has been used, but in the next section it says that if it is returned then the laptop has to of had been factory restored - this does not make sense as first they say it cannot be returned but then in the second part it gives the indication in a way that it can be returned?

Could somebody shed some light into this?

Many thanks - Liam

Am I right thinking that it's in fact 7 working days? If so then I've technically only had the laptop for 4 working days.

I'm a bit confused, so it has to be totally unopened but you can still return it in different packaging?

Liam
