Hi,
I've been using the l24q30 for nearly two years now for gaming, internet browsing and office work. I'm really tired of the poor image quality/lighting. It makes my hear hurt. I liked it at first as it was so much better than the trashy monitors I had to return that I purchased on Amazon (some expensive ones too).
I just want something now with excellent colours or more natural lighting.
I might go with a hp 27 inch: like the m27fq. I've seen hp monitors on display (unlike the hundreds of internet only monitors you're unable to view before buying) and although not exceptional, they're not bad. I haven't decided yet though. I'm probably gonna steer clear of those giant high frame rate gaming monitors because to me they seem like gimmicks, and are nowhere near the quality of bad televisions. Unless someone can convince me otherwise? I'm open to suggestions.
It's super easy to find a laptop with perfect image quality/clarity/tone/colours that is easy on my eyes. It's not difficult to find a half-decent all-in-one PC with a good image quality, but it's near impossible to find a half-good monitor these days, and it's really frustrating because I care about my eyes.
Would be grateful for some recommendations. Thanks.
Update: I forgot to add that I'm looking for 24 and 27 inch monitors. Budget is between £300 - £700.
