hi all,

I'm planning to upgrade an old laptop from windows 7 to windows 10 with the accessibility features, but also want to fit an SSD to breathe some life into it.

What order would you do this in?

I would naturally say

W10 accessibility upgrade tool -> replace HDD with SSD -> clean install of w10 using Windows 10 reset tool

although i'm concerned that the license may not like the change of hardware?

Upgrade to Windows 10.
Tie license to Windows account.

Download and set up media with new Windows 10.

Change for SSD then install Windows

Put in SSD
Install the version of windows 10 relative to the windows 7 license key
Use the windows 7 license key to activate windows 10
Profit

(I've already activated a windows 10 pro install with a windows 7 pro license key recently, so I know that it works).

I'd use the accessibility loophole to update win 7 to win 10, then tie it to a windows account, same as Martini :)

That way you don't have to worry about finding the licence key or it not working correctly.
