WANTED: BIOS Volt Mod for 3870

Hi Guys. I'm after a modded bios that will provide the most volts to the 3870 without a hard mod. I'm after about 1.35 the most I have seen is 1.327 (from memory).

Had my card at 920/1300(2600) but PC was crashing after about 1 min of 3Dmark06.

Also if anyone would know what volts I would need to hit the magical 1ghz core I would be interested to know but the most I want to do to this card is a pensil mod.

Currently I am at 875/1250 using a bios editor.

you could try Techpowerup!. i know they stock quite a few BIOS mods...

BIOS mods for the hd3870 above 1.327v arent possible. However, pencil mods very much are.

A file called atibiosedit.zip is posted which will allow you to tweak your own BIOS with an easy to use GUI. There is a mistake in the tool where it uses commas instead of decimal points (a european thing), so manually put in the decimal point where needed.
